Sinapi Aba Trust prides herself with two mainstream programmes:

Microfinance Services
Sinapi Aba Trust has expertise in rural and urban credit management and alternatives ways of rural finance drawing strength from over a decade experience in transforming lives through micro-financing.
SAT has also incorporated within its Trust Bank and individual loan methodologies the concept of both progressive and compulsory savings. These savings are directly managed by the Trust with high levels of client satisfaction.
One of SAT core strength is the delivery of micro-credit with education. We integrate training programmes into the delivery of microfinance services. Areas covered include:
- Entrepreneurial skills
- Credit acquisition and wise use of credit
- Basic accounting principles and savings
- Business records keeping
- Good customer care
Sinapi Aba Trust wields excellent strength in managing funds and implementing microfinance projects on behalf of institutions. Over the years collaborative initiatives in this direction has seen SAT managing and implementing projects with resounding success for the Ghana Government‘s Emergency Social Relief Projects (ESRP) on Poultry and Food production.
Institutions with similar programmes currently running include: the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Obuasi Municipal Authority, Asunafo South District Assembly, Social Investment Fund, Community Based Rural Development Project (CBRDP) of the Ministry of Local Government, the Venture Capital Trust Fund, Technoserve among others.
Non-Finance Services
Sinapi Aba Trust provides high quality training, technical advisory services and institutional capacity building to support the development of microfinance and other development oriented institutions. SAT draws strength from knowledge consolidation and best practices through more than 10 years successful hands-on implementation and consulting experience in microfinance and application of tools designed by MicroSave- Africa and the AIMS-SEEP.
SAT delivers training and technical services in five main areas:
- Microfinance Related subjects- best practices for loan appraisal, credit management, monitoring, delinquency management, calculation and use of financial indicators, corporate governance.
- Impact Assessment and Monitoring, client satisfaction surveys, Institutional evaluation of micro finance and Micro enterprise institutions.
- Market Research into what enterprises need and want in terms of products and services
- Advisory services in best practices in key operational and management issues such as client retention, loan appraisal, credit and delinquency management, internal controls, best banking practices, investment and finance, accounting and management etc.
- Product Development and Refinement e.g. Loans and Savings Products, Micro-leasing etc
Other Non-Finance Services include
- Youth Apprenticeship Programme (YAP) - The purpose is to reduce incidence and spread of STIs & HIV/AIDS and unemployment among the youth by providing them with employable skills.
- HIV/AIDS - Awareness creation and Counseling services
- Community Development - Community leadership, resource mobilization, project planning and implementation techniques, team building, conflict resource, etc
- Exposure Visit - Familiarization visits to clients, institutional briefing and experience sharing.
